Northern Trust Open 2010

About the tournament

The Northern Trust Open, formerly known as the Los Angeles Open, has been drawing crowds since 1926. This high profile event has seen many homes, but has been hosted at the Riviera Country Club for 34 of the last 36 years, and there's a good reason why.  With its beautiful and challenging design, the club's internationally-renowned course is "perenially rated among the finest in the world." (Riviera Country Club website, www.therivieracountryclub.com).

This year the tournament begins Monday, February 2nd, with a practice round and pro-am tournament constituting the first two days respectively.

It's not just for avid golf fans...

Anyone, regardless of age or golf experience, can enjoy the Northern Trust Open.  The mild, coastal southern California weather in Pacific Palisades, the inviting grounds and the lure of an exciting, well-publicized championship event should be enough to draw anyone to the event.
